Kizomba lovers beware! The first Kizomba teachers for Latin Weekender 2025 have been announced.

Annika & Melvin
As founder of the largest Kizomba event in the Netherlands (Kizomba Lounge), Annika is a true pioneer in the scene. With her innovative teaching style, which focuses on flow, musicality and connection between dance partners, she has taken Kizomba to new heights. Together with Melvin, she teaches a bootcamp for beginners and workshops Urban Kiz at Latin Weekender.

Frans & Sarah
Frans and Sarah are a dynamic and talented Kizomba duo with deep cultural roots and a rich heritage. Sarah, originally from Portugal and Congo, is widely regarded as one of the best Kizomba / Semba dancers in the world. Frans brings a diverse background, hailing from Congo, Belgium, the Netherlands and Portugal, with Angolan blood running through his veins. They have been sharing their passion through workshops and classes since 2010, including at Annika's Kizomba Lounge in Rotterdam.

Mik'iz & Pao

Known for their energetic and unique dance style, Mik'iz & Pao bring a breath of fresh air to the Kizomba world. Their performances and workshops are a perfect blend of technique and passion.
